Kenneth Wayne Steffen, 77 of Erick, Oklahoma was born on September 5, 1948, in Peoria, Illinois to Robert Laverne and Lavonda Jane (Williams) Steffen. Kenneth looked upon the face of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, Elk City Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged.
Kenneth excelled in the carpentry industry and built many beautiful homes. He had many hobbies including fishing and traveling and building tables and chairs.
He treasured spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Kenneth will be deeply missed and greatly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2025, at Erick Cemetery, Erick, Oklahoma. Rev. Charlie Floyd will officiate. Interment will be at Erick Cemetery, Erick, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is his daughter, Lisa Steffen of Marquette Heights, Illinois; his mother, Lavonda Steffen of Erick, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Tierney Hudson of East Peoria, Illinois, Reece Albritton of Sarasota, Florida, Bryli Bogard of Creve Coeur, Illinois; three great grandchildren, Talan King of East Peoria, Illinois, Trey King of East Peoria, Illinois, Avianna Bogard of Creve Coeur, Illinois; two brothers, Bob Steffen of Lebanon, Missouri, Dennis Steffen of Tavernier, Florida; one sister, Sandy Finck of East Peoria, Illinois; and many other relatives and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife, Susie Steffen, and his father, Robert Laverne.
Memorials can be made to the charity of choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
