Kenneth Dale Swaim, 76, of Concord, departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Batesville, He was born in Batesville to Robert Kenneth Swaim and Golda Christine (Tucker) Swaim on January 31, 1948.
During his working years, Kenny drove coast to coast in long haul trucking for several companies. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Kenny loved horses and mules, rodeos, goat roping and anything western. In his later years he found pleasure in feeding deer around his homeplace. His family says "he spent several coins in deer feed:
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Shane Swaim, of Floral, and Rusty (Diane) Swaim, of Pleasant Plains; his sister, Gloria (Bobby) Galloway, of Huff; his grandchildren, Robin, Cody, Jana, Dylan, Ashton; his great grandchildren, Kiezer, Kimber, Montgomery, Charlotte, Josey, Cassidy, Rustiann, Stevie, Blaine, and Hudsyn; Jewell Swaim, of the home; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service with Bro. Ronnie Fortson officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Kyler Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Swaim, Shane Swaim, Cody Swaim, Dylan Swaim, Terry Young, James Finley, and Bobby Finley.
Visitation will be Monday, August 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service.
The family extends their appreciation for the care Kenny received from the staff during his stay at Mountain Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Southside.
