Kenneth B. Thompson

Kenneth B. Thompson, age 66, of Canton went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born January 22, 1957 in Canton, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Louise Thompson. Kenny married the love of his life, Cathy, on June 21, 1986 and had a beautiful life together for 33 years. They are now together again.
Kenny was a Vietnam Veteran. After serving our Country he worked for Timken Steel up until he retired. He and Cathy moved from Canton, OH to Wildwood, FL after retirement to spend their golden years together. He was a member of Wildwood United Methodist Church. He loved his church family and donating his time there.
Survived by step-sons, John (Barb) Rudish of Minerva, OH, Mike Rudish of Canton, OH; granddaughters, Jessica (Matthew) Hepfl of Youngstown, OH, Jasmine (Tyler) Boggs of Minerva, OH, Micaela Rudish of Canton, OH; siblings, Dorene (Bill) Corless of Salt Lake City, UT, Dayan (Don) Clark of Owensboro, KY, William (Pat) Foster of Canton, OH and Joseph (Lori) Thompson of Canton, OH; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Kenny was a family man, there everyday with a phone call or text with warm words of praise. He will be remembered for being a prankster and his contagious laugh. He had the biggest heart and was there for anyone that needed a helping hand. He enjoyed camping and riding his motorcycle. He could make a friend anywhere he went. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 12PM to 1PM at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Service will follow at 1PM. Kenny will be laid to rest with Cathy at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to sign the online guestbook.
