Born April 15, 1929, in Bird Island Mn. He passed away on July 16, 2025.
Kenny was a Korean War Navy veteran. He married LaVonne Lauer in 1950 while still serving in the Navy. Shortly after service they moved to Circle Pines and remained there for the duration of their life, seventy plus years.
During their lifetime Ken’s profession was a milkman while LaVonne worked for Applebaum’s and Rainbow Foods. Ken also was on the city council and acted as mayor at one time.
He and LaVonne raised four children, Gary (Karen) Uthe, Sharon (Steve) Bristor, Keith Uthe, and Renee Uthe. They had ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Ken and LaVonne were truly fortunate to travel extensively and later spent winters in Texas.
They were married for 64 years and very blessed to be able to fulfill their dreams.
The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Brighton Hospice and especially Sara and Dani for their wonderful and loving concern and guidance for Ken. They made the last few weeks tolerable for the family.
