Kenneth "Kenny" Antonio Washington, 37 of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Born on August 16, 1987 in Oceanside, CA was the Son of Alvenus (James) and Teddy Washington.
Kenny was a friend to all, and strangers were not known to him. His caring nature and gratitude were known by all that knew him. A dedicated father, son, and friend, he loved his family making trips and going out of his way to spend time with those he loved. As an Air Force Veteran, Kenneth was well known amongst his comrades and got to meet people all over the world. In continuing his service, Kenny eventually started and owned his own moving company continuing to serve others. His infections smile and demeanor will be greatly missed.
Kenneth is preceded in death by a maternal grandfather Willie Hunter, a paternal grandfather David E. Washington.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is survived by his loving children: Samiyah Mackenzie Washington, Kavuan Antonio Washington, Kennedi Rose-Diane Hill, Kenslei Cattleya Washington, and Jett Henry Washington; a brother Johnathan Lawrence Washington; maternal grandmother Alvenus Hunter, and paternal grandmother JoAnne Washington. He will also be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and comrades.
Most men carry an unthinkable amount of weight on their shoulders that they don't tell anyone about, and they still show up every day for other people a good attitude and no complaints. This is the person, our son Kenneth A. Washington was. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, a part of him still lives in you. His spirit lives with you, and we hope that you continue to share that with others.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation in Goose Creek, until a Celebration of Life starts at 3 PM
