Kenneth Austin Weaver, lovingly known as Kenny, passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on August 13, 1958, to Austin Frank Weaver and Dorothy Munfrada Harris, Kenny was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Kenny spent over 40 years with Melanie Baptista, and together they shared a special bond and their beloved dog, Lobo. Though they eventually parted ways, they continued to care deeply for one another.
A proud and passionate Raiders fan, Kenny will be remembered for his infectious laugh, playful spirit, and ability to light up any room with his humor. He had a kind, goofy heart and was deeply loved by all who knew him.
Kenny had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, took great pride in caring for his home, and most of all, cherished the companionship of his loyal dog, Bandito, who will miss him dearly. Kenny had a deep love for animals of all kinds and always had a soft spot for any creature in need. He also enjoyed lifting weights and staying active, taking pride in maintaining his strength and health throughout his life.
He is survived by his siblings: Debbie (Vai), Brenda (Steve), Rhonda (Rick), Julie (Mike), Austin Jr. (Pam), Kelly, Stacy, Mike (Melanie), and Wendy (Jeremy); step-father, Ken Harris; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him deeply.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Dottie; sisters, Trudy, Pam, and Shuree; brother, Bill; nieces, Krista and Porscha; nephew, JJ; and brother-in-law, Toan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Ridgecreek Ward; 5735 South Fashion Blvd, Murray, Utah. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the same location.
In accordance with Kenny’s wishes, cremation will follow his services. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Redwood Cemetery in West Jordan, Utah at a later date.
Kenny, your joyful spirit and loving heart will be missed more than words can express.
We love you. We love you. We love you.
