Kenneth “Kenny” Riley Webster, age 76 of Moorefield, WV, passed away Friday morning, January 17, 2025, at the Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. Born on December 14, 1948 in Winchester, VA, he was a son of the late Jesse Willard Webster and Lola Catherine Shockey Webster. In addition to his parents, siblings, Joe Webster and Velma Doman also preceded him in death.
Kenny was truly a man of nature, finding deep joy in the great outdoors. His adventurous spirit led him to countless hunting and fishing trips, and he often embraced the open road atop his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle. A dedicated heavy equipment operator, the elements were his companions as he built the roads he loved to navigate. When the skies turned gray, it was a chance for Kenny to dive into the virtual world of YouTube, where he could learn, laugh, and share with others.
One of Kenny's greatest joys came from his family. He cherished the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren. His ability to weave magical stories will forever be treasured by those who gathered around him, listening intently, laughter in the air.
Surviving is his wife Nancy Lou Huffman Webster; daughters, Jessica (Dwight) Champ of Old Fields, WV, Sara Beth (Travis) Racey of Moorefield, WV and Kendra Riley (Andrew) Lee of Cameron, NC; a sister, Betty Jean Ganoe of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Adam & Madeline and great-grandchildren, Braylen & Blake.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, located at 107 Washington Street, with Pastors Russell and Lucy Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Olivet Cemetery. Before the service, the family will welcome friends and loved ones for a time of remembrance from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
