My dear friend Cooley (Ken),

Where do I even begin? I just learned of your passing, and my heart is shattered. I´m struggling to wrap my head around this devastating news. You were more than a friend-you were a guiding light in my life. You taught me so much, but the most important lesson was to love myself, even when the world or others didn´t treat me kindly.

You gave me the space and encouragement to keep going, to keep pushing forward in my educational journey. And because of you, I´m almost at the finish line. But now, I´m standing here with this ache in my heart, missing you so deeply that it physically hurts. The thought of never hearing your voice again-your comforting words of wisdom and encouragement-feels unbearable.

Who do I call now when I´m overwhelmed and lost? You always knew just what to say to lift me up when no one else could. You had this gift for bringing light into the darkest moments, and without you, the world feels a lot more dimmer.

Please, Cooley, send me little signs that you´re still here. Let me feel your presence in the quiet moments, reminding me that even though your body is gone, your spirit remains.

Rest peacefully, my beautiful Cooley friend . You will always hold a special place in my heart.
