US MARINE - Kenneth R. Wilson Sr., age 73, passed away on June 4th, 2024. Born April 29, 1951, to the late Ellis and Norene (nee Hunley) Wilson in Cincinnati, OH. Loving Father of Tony Wilson, Kenny Jr. (Jennifer) Wilson, Angela Wilson, and the late Matt Tabor. Cherished Grandfather of Austin, Ashley, Luke, Corinne, Kayleigh, Thomas, and Ethan. Beloved Brother of Theresa (Reggie) Lane, Randy (Linda) Wilson, the late Michael (Kathy) Wilson, and the late Brenda Wilson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ken was the first to help you when someone needed it. He handled a lot for his family and did what he could to make a life for them. In High School, Ken played a little baseball, and was being scouted by the Cincinnati Reds before deciding to ultimately serve his country in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. His sacrifice in term, gave him the skills and discipline to start up his own business, painting and remodeling homes throughout Cincinnati. When he had time, he went fishing, and loved to take his kids and grandkids. He was also the family's protector, standing up for and protecting anyone who was a part of it. With a blink of the eye, he would step into danger for anyone, and make sure they were protected and safe even through the toughest times.
A time for Visitation will take place Saturday, June 8th, 2024, from 10am to 12pm noon, at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH 45244. Funeral Service will follow and conclude with Military Honors. Kenneth will be laid to rest at the convenience of his family.
