Kenneth "Kenny" Floyd Womic born on November 26, 1960 in Kings Mountain, North
Carolina was called home on July 2, 2024 from Caromont Health in Gastonia, NC.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at 1719 Kings Row Apartments Clubhouse Kings Mountain, NC
He was
preceded in death by parents; Floyd B. Womic, Ruth Gordon Womic, in addition to brothers;
Calvin and Tyrone Womic.
Kenny was a graduate of Kings Mountain Senior High School and a former employee of
Parkdale for several years before being forced to retire due to health issues. He was a
member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Lamar Womic of Charlotte; brothers: Michael (Chiquita)
of Kings Mountain, Anthony "B Man" of Kings Mountain, Timothy "Tim" (Kathy) of
Gastonia, Dennis of Belmont; and half-sister Janice Gordon of Winston-Salem; aunts Doris "
Tina" Womic of Connecticut, Shirley Womic of Kings Mountain, Amelia Gordon Johnson
of Richmond, VA; uncle, Frank Williams of Kings Mountain; as well as many nieces,
nephews, and a host of relatives and friends
