Kenny Joe Gifford was born on January 7th, 1952, in Westville, Oklahoma and went to his heavenly home on February 28th, 2025, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 21 days.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Hershel Leon Gifford and Anna Laura Gifford, five brothers and three sisters. Hershel Gifford Jr., Dewayne Gifford, Hollis Gifford, Robert Gifford, Darrell Gifford, Margaret Gifford Russow, Patricia Gifford and Patty Gifford.
Kenny is survived by three children, Christopher Gifford and wife Cherish of Colcord, Oklahoma, Christina Gifford Trammell and husband Bart of Andover, Kansas, and Kenny Gifford Jr. and wife Rhonda of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kenny is also survived by two brothers and three sisters Donval Gifford of Westville, Oklahoma, Terry Gifford of Westville, Oklahoma, Bonita Gifford of Westville, Oklahoma, Sheila Gifford Taylor of Westville, Oklahoma, and Helen Gifford Ford Kneeland of Greenwood, Arkansas.
Kenny attended area schools near Westville as a young man. Growing up in the area he rode horses across multiple counties with his siblings enjoying every moment of a young life. As a grown man he worked construction for many years before going on to becoming a truck driver for over 20 years.
Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching hummingbirds, watching football, and drinking coffee.
