Kent Richard DeConcini
Edwardsville - Kent Richard DeConcini, 80, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Thurs. Oct. 3, 2024 at Addington Place in Edwardsville.
He was born Aug. 10, 1944 in East St. Louis, IL to the late Raymond & Edith (Bontempo) DeConcini.
On Sept. 4, 1965, he and Shirley Burnett were married in Glen Carbon. She survives.
The U.S. Army veteran retired from Laborer Local #474. He loved to golf and watch Illini basketball.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by 2 daughters: Lori (Stephen) Horack of Wildwood, MO and Jodi DeConcini of St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren: Connor and Katie Horack and Riley DeConcini and Liam DeConcini Sandler; 4 sisters: Sharon Massman, Linda Tayon, Marie DeConcini and Pam DeConcini; and 3 brothers: Raymond, William and Jerry DeConcini all of Illinois.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry DeConcini.
Services are private.
