Kent Livingston, age 69, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home in Tyndall.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 12 at Goglin Funeral Home in Tyndall. Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m.
Interment will be at St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Tyndall.
Kent North Livingston was born September 11, 1955 to Howard Wayne and Betty Lou (Hanson) Livingston in Britton, SD. Kent was employed at Sheehan Equipment in Sioux Falls from 1974 to 1982. He married Rose Hamberger July 10, 1976. They remained in Sioux Falls, with Kent working for parks and recreation, until 1985 when they moved to Tyndall.
He was a hard worker who did various odd jobs in the Tyndall area. Kent loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing or just piddling around at home.
Kent is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose; brother, Bob (Becky) Livingston; sister, Cindy (Tim) Matson; 5 nieces; 3 nephews; sisters-in-law, Elsie (Jim) Osienger and Cathy Hamberger and brother-in-law, Jim Mettler.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Laura Livingston; his parents; sister, Barbara Lee Mettler and brother, Dean Dwayne Livingston.
