Kent Michael Roedner

Kent Michael Roedner, age 72, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Born on September 16, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, Kent lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis George Roedner; his brother, Steven Louis Roedner; and his sister, Becky Ann Limpert (née Roedner); and his brother-in-law Gene Bryant.
Kent is survived by his beloved significant other, Karen Smith; his daughters Jennifer Roberts (née Roedner), Dannelle (Robert) Waggoner (née Roedner), and Samantha (Donald) Walls (née Roedner); and Karen's children, Dawn (Willy) Dimitroff, Nichole Smith, and Dereck (Amanda) Smith; and his beloved dog and best friend Roxanne.
He was a proud grandfather to Alison (Bradley) Logsdon, Tristen Konecnik, Alexandria Waggoner, Nichole Waggoner, James Waggoner, William Dimitroff, Thea Dimitroff, Abby Smith, Dylan Smith, and Henry Smith, and a loving great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mom, Jane Roedner (née Rolf), and sisters Tracy Bryant (née Roedner) and Dawn (Buddy) Turnbough (née Roedner), and loving nieces and nephews.
Kent will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for those closest to him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
After cremation, Kent's ashes were interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Kent's Celebration of Life will take place on November 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM at Meramec Arnold Eagles, located at 1725 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010.
