Kent Tanner Obituary
Mr. Kent Barnett Tanner, 58, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 10 am at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
Kent was a graduate of 71st High School and played for the State Champion football team for Coach Bobby Poss. He served in the US Air Force before returning to Fayetteville where he managed several food businesses before opening, owning, and operating T's Pizza for fourteen years prior to his retirement.
Kent was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated brother and son. Kent loved the Lord.
Kent is survived by his wife of 32 years, Luz Tanner; three children, Keith Tanner, Kenneth Tanner, and Keanna Tanner; two grandchildren, Asia and Keziah; his father, Earl Tanner; brother, Bruce Tanner; and sister, Brenda Davis.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Tanner and brother-in-law, Mikel Davis.
