Kerry Lynn Barraclough

January 12, 1962 - March 12, 2026

On January 12, 1962, the Stork delivered me into the greatest household of Ross and Shirley Barraclough at 551 Sunset Avenue in Tooele, Utah. Also waiting for my arrival was my 2 brothers (Kim and Kent) and 2 sisters (Kris and Karla) I had a great childhood and was always grateful that I had the best family one could ask for. I attended West Elementary and graduated from Tooele High School with the class of 1980. I attended Utah State University for 2 years and then took a job at Dugway Proving Grounds eventually making the grade of GS-12 and was the Project Manager for a Drone Program. I loved my job at Dugway, but loved the people that I worked with more, "What a Great Team"! I received many awards and accolades from senior United States military leadership.

I was blessed to have a fantastic woman in my life my precious wife Sue whom I had 3 fantastic sons with (Brendon, Carston, and Jerron). We had a close family and had many adventures and good times together. I inherited my dad's ability to grow just about anything I tell you all my dad had the greenest thumb. I loved to work in my garden and yard. I enjoyed sharing my harvest from my garden with family and friends or with the stranger walking down the sidewalk. I also grew many types of beautiful flowers and would make arrangements and pass them out to family and friends. I would do random acts of kindness and would give flowers to senior citizens in the store or at the gas station just to make someone feel good. I always had a story to tell and loved to converse with anyone who wanted to talk or just listen. I was a good listener at times (Ha Ha)! I was a self-taught man in carpentry; my best buddy Jodie Ellsworth and I accomplished many woodworking projects together. My other best buddy Steve Hamilton and I were better known for our fun but mischievous ways.

I was preceded in this life by my parents Ross and Shirley Barraclough, my wife Sue, my 3 sons Brendon, Carston, and Jerron, my brother Kent, my sister Kris, and my loyal and faithful dog Wally.

I leave behind my family that was always there with words of wisdom and support. My brother Kim (Becky) Barraclough (Cottonwood Heights), my sister Karla (Rick) Hunter (Taylorsville), my brother-in-law Brent Carney (Fish Haven, Idaho), my loyal companion my dog Junior, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

I especially want to thank my two angels Sherrie and Jeanie for all the kindness and support that they gave me. I also leave behind many friends that supported me during the good and difficult times, I love you all and will miss you, but I will see you all again. I'm at "Peace"!

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00pm at the Tooele City Cemetery, 361 South 100 East, Tooele, Utah.
