Kerry held an Associate's degree and utilized his education in a career that reflected his passion for helping others. Throughout his time with the Dallas Police Department, he exhibited exemplary dedication and professionalism, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and the community alike.
In addition to his professional achievements, Kerry was a man of diverse interests and hobbies. He had a love for driving fast, and his passion for Corvettes was well known. The color orange brought him joy, and he found solace in playing the guitar, a testament to his creative spirit and love for music.
Kerry is survived by his children, Kerry Johnson, Jr. and Keturah Johnson, who will carry on his legacy. He is also remembered fondly by his mother, Linda Williams, along with a host of other relatives and friends who were fortunate to know him.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Kerry Denard Johnson will be held on November 1, 2025, at The Jubilee Church in DeSoto, Texas. The service will commence at 12:00 PM, providing an opportunity for all to come together to remember a remarkable man who left a lasting impact on those around him.
Kerry Denard Johnson will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit and contributions to the Dallas community will resonate for years to come.
