Kerry Lynn Wilson, 76, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Sunday, February 08, 2026, at her home.
Kerry was born on September 19, 1949, to Robert Robinson and Marilyn "Lynn" (Case) Olsen in Reading, Pennsylvania. She married Dennis Wilson on April 15, 1979, in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Kerry was raised on Lake Norfork and spent much of her time on the water or fishing. Being near the water remained her “happy place” throughout life. Kerry retired from the Butler County Collectors Office after 30+ years. In her later years, she enjoyed working in her yard and being at home with her two canine companions, Toby and Pretty Eyes, as well as her cat.
Kerry is survived by her two daughters, Sherry (Andy) Moore and Renee Sneathern (David Birdsong), both of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Vicki (Tim) Simpson of Owasso, Oklahoma; one brother, Dr. Mark Olsen of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Katelyn (Ryan) Cleous, Chance (Madlyn) Moore, Madelyn Redmond, and Maddox Birdsong; two great-grandchildren, Lynlee and Rhett Cleous.
Kerry was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Wilson; sister, Toni Crawford.
