Kevin Michael Barry

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Michael Barry, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. Mr. Barry passed away peacefully in the company of his family on May 10, 2025 at the age of 85 in Charlotte, NC. Born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, UK, in 1939, Kevin lived a life of hard work, love, and dedication. After graduating from Manchester University he was recruited by Westinghouse to work in the United States thus starting his successful 45-year career as a Nuclear Engineer. Along the way he earned his Masters Degree from the University of Southern California.He loved music, food, and watching football (soccer). He was known for his intelligence, wit, and joke telling; it didnt matter if you laughed at them he always did.He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Gwen Barry, his sons John and Justin, stepson David, his brother Pat and his wife Mary, nieces Sharon and Tamara and their families, sister Eileen, and grandchildren Evan, Ava, Ronan, and Meara, and dog Shadow.
