Kevin Daniel "Kev" Behr

Kevin Daniel Behr, age 37, of Safety Harbor, Florida, Wantagh and Long Beach, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 surrounded by his family and friends. Kevin was born on June 6, 1988; the son of Kathi Behr (Gormsen) and Daniel Behr. Kevin leaves behind his wife Lisa, son Adam, mom, dad, sister Liz, and countless family and friends who love him deeply and will miss him endlessly.

"Kev" was truly one of a kind. He was intelligent, kind and easy going. He had a way of making people feel valued, and his friendships were lasting and meaningful. His love for his family and friends ran deep and they could always count on him.

One thing Kev will forever be remember for is his passion for the New York Jets and his remarkable knowledge of all things football. Whether watching a game, remembering players' stats or dominating the fantasy league, Kev brought energy, humor and heart into every conversation. Football was more than just a hobby for Kev, it was part of who he was.

After moving from New York to Florida, Kev built a life he was immensely proud of. He became a devoted husband to Lisa and father to his young son, Adam. Safety Harbor brought Kev joy. Mostly during the winters, when he happily bragged to the New Yorkers about how warm he was. He loved spending time on the water – fishing, kayaking, boating. It was where he felt the most at peace.

Although the pain of losing Kevin far too soon is overwhelming, we are so proud of the life he lived and the strength he showed, which he did with grace and determination. His courage will never be forgotten and his spirit, laughter and love leave an imprint that will never fade. Kevin will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
