Kevin Grimes Cannon

Kevin is survived by his parents, Timothy and Taryn, his brother, Aedan, his sister and brother-in-law Maeve and Sean Dvorak, and his maternal grandmother, Catherine Meagher. Kevin is predeceased by his grandparents, Kevin Patrick Meagher, Vincent and Rose Cannon. Kevin was born March 11, 1992, in Ridgewood, NJ and attended Somerville Elementary and Benjamin Franklin Middle School, where he made many treasured friendships and memories. After middle school, Kevin took on a big adventure: commuting daily to New York City to attend Regis High School. Graduating from Regis was one of his greatest challenges and proudest accomplishments. From there, Kevin continued his Jesuit education by attending Boston College. He cherished his days on the Heights.

In recent years, Kevin carried burdens that shaped much of how he moved through the world; however, his life was far more than the personal difficulties he faced. Kevin was intelligent, funny, and always the loudest person in the room. He was an avid reader, a talented bagpipe player, and an NYC marathon finisher. He loved nothing more than a good playlist or a good movie. Most of all, Kevin thrived when connecting with others. Kevin never met a stranger.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave, Ridgewood, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, December 5th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 1 Passaic St, Ridgewood, NJ. A burial will occur Friday, December 5th, 2025 at Ascension Cemetery Chapel, 650 Saddle River Rd., Airmont, New York 10952.
