Kevin was a whole year younger than Corbin and our friends. Which meant he couldn't hang with us and our friends because he wasn't old enough to hang with the "BIG BOYS". But one thing I have to admit, although he was younger, that boy could run. Kevin was so fast that he would give me a head start, catch up with me (running as fast as I could), look me in the eyes, smile at me, and then just pulled ahead, seemingly without any additional strain nor effort he got faster. But he still couldn't hang.

Kevin was one of the first persons I encountered when I first started to go to Grace Baptist Church several years ago. His warm reception made me feel welcome, and we became friends ever since. I will miss his goofy sense of humor and that laugh. Just knowing he his home with the Lord brings me comfort.
