He was born January 6, 1951 in Butler, Pennsylvania to George and Edith (Kelly) Dunmyre.
He attended two years of college, attaining an Associates Degree. He then worked several years for the Dunmyre Trucking Company in Chicora, Pennsylvania. He then worked at Armco for 20 years, retiring in 2004.
Kevin is survived by son: Michael and wife Dana Dunmyre; Sisters-in-law: Sandy Dunmyre; and Vie Dunmyre.
Preceded in death by his parents:George and Edith (Kelly) Dunmyre;
Brothers: Jack A. Dunmyre who died October 8, 2013; and Richard K. Dunmyre who died June 7, 2021.
A graveside service and inurnment were held in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora, Pennsylvania.
