Kevin Tyrone Hassell, of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on September 19, 2022. He was 60 years old.
Kevin was born in Newburgh on July 25, 1962 to Patricia (Maise) and John Hassell, Sr.
Kevin loved fishing and playing cards, especially Spades.
He is survived by his siblings, Wanda Brown, Keenan Dillard, Regina Brown, and her husband Mack, Daryl Johnson, and John Hassell, Jr.; his children, Travis Hassell, Kentisha Hassell, Tevin Hassell, Taquan Hassell, Daniel Paige; his friends, Felton Murdaugh, Blake, Pumpkin, and Cherish; seven grandchildren; a special nephew, Kedrick Maise; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1 from 1 – 4 PM.

I met you Kevin in grade 6, S.J.H. you was such a happy, funny, sweet classmate! Always nice & kind! Who knew I'd meet the rest of your family and cherish them .... especially Jeannie, Wanda, Trevino, Mammi, & Rome .....etc.... your smile & kindness will be missed, blessings on your new journey with Jesus.... love & prayer always in Jesus Name
