Kevin D. Kollmansberger (known by many as Gibby), age 59, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2025.
Kevin was born on November 9, 1966. He was known as the life of the party, with a captivating personality that instantly drew people in. Kevin had a way of making others feel welcome and entertained, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and being handy, always willing to fix, build, or help however he could.
Kevin was united in marriage to Kathy Jo Saverda on July 15, 1989, and they had three children. They later divorced in 2005.
Above all, Kevin cherished his family. He is survived by his children: son, Kyle (Leah) Kollmansberger, son, Kasey (Taylor Opelt) Kollmansberger, and daughter, Kelsea (Jesse) Kollmansberger-Preciado. He was a proud grandfather to Laikyn, Kamden, Karson, and Kasen, who brought him immense joy.
Kevin is also survived by his siblings: Kurt (Cindy) Kollmansberger, Renee (Dean) Check, Rhonda Hanson, and Regan (Garrett) Jochimsen; and ex-wife, Kathy; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley Kollmansberger.
Kevin will be remembered for his humor, energy, and the way he brought people together. His memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A private service will be held by his family.
