**Obituary for Kevin Richard Lynch**
January 7, 1956 - December 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Richard Lynch, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on December 9, 2025, in Big Sandy, Texas. He was 69 years old.
Born on January 7, 1956, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kevin grew up with an infectious spirit and an unwavering love for his family and community. After completing high school, he dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving his country in the U.S. Navy. Kevin proudly served during the Desert Storm campaign, ultimately retiring with the rank of ASC on September 30, 1994.
Kevin's commitment to service extended into his civilian life, where he worked for Community Coffee for 15 years. His colleagues remember him not only for his strong work ethic but for the warmth and humor he brought into the workplace every day.
A devoted family man, Kevin is survived by his loving spouse, Sherrie Lynch, and their cherished children-daughters Shannon Dante, Shannon Lynch, Shellie Waggoner, and Amber Lynch, and son Ryan Lynch. He is also survived by his siblings Jim, Mary Pat and Ann. Kevin's love for his family was apparent in everything he did, and he cherished every moment spent with them, from family gatherings to quiet times at home.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillian Lynch.
In celebration of Kevin's life and the many memories he created, a veterans service will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Mineola, Texas, on December 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Kevin and share their favorite stories and reflections about this remarkable man who touched so many lives.
As we remember Kevin, we are grateful for the love he shared and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. He will be profoundly missed but fervently remembered for his dedication to those he loved and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
