It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Joseph McCourt II.
Kevin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. His passion for adventure and love for the outdoors led him to one of the happiest achievements of his life: hiking the entire Appalachian Trail.
Kevin's remarkable spirit, curiosity, and appreciation for the beauty of nature left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Kevin cherished life's simple pleasures, often finding solace in reading, writing, and music. His love and care for his friends and family were unwavering, and he lived his life with kindness and an open heart.
Kevin will be deeply missed by his parents, Kevin McCourt Sr. and Eileen Gudelunas; his siblings, Mary McCourt, Margaret Heard, and Daniel Gudelunas; and his dear nephews, Brayden and Samuel.
While our hearts are heavy with this loss, we find comfort in the memories of his vibrant energy, limitless determination, and the joy he brought to those around him.
A celebration of Kevin's life will be announced at a later date. Rest in peace, Kevin, as you take your final hike to a new horizon. You will forever be in our hearts.
