There weren´t many places I could go in the Mon Valley without being called Little Murph. Even if I didn´t know them, that nickname told me they knew my dad.
Because he had such a big heart, I had to share him with a lot of people and many of them loved him just as much as I did.
It wasn´t easy to understand as a child, but it´s something that makes me proud as an adult. I always knew he loved me, and I know he´s proud of me.
