Kevin Noel Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral & Cremation Service on Jan. 12, 2026.
Kevin Daniel Noel (July 13, 1969 – January 8, 2026)
Kevin Daniel Noel, 56, of Brentwood, Pennsylvania, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Born in Portland, Maine, and raised in Cumberland, Kevin earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 58 and graduated from Greely High School in 1987. He then proudly served in the United States Army for eight years before being honorably discharged following injury. Following his military service, Kevin earned a degree in Public Management from Austin Peay State University in 2008.
Kevin devoted more than 25 years of his professional life to serving fellow veterans as a National Service Officer with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). His work was more than a career-it was a mission. Kevin tirelessly advocated for veterans and their families, ensuring they received the benefits, care, and dignity they earned and deserved through service to our nation. He also volunteered with numerous fraternal DAV Chapters, where he was a trusted advocate, mentor, and friend to countless veterans.
Kevin's proudest achievement was being a devoted and loving father to his three children: Alexander Noel (25), Jillian Noel (22), both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Anabella Noel (19) of Huntington, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Noel. Kevin is survived by his mother, Kathleen Noel; his sister, Christine (Aaron) Hamlen; and his niece and nephew, Becca and Bailey Hamlen, all of Cumberland, Maine as well as others whom he considered family.
Friends, colleagues, and fellow veterans are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Ave. Bridgeville, PA 15017 from 11AM -1:30PM, where a celebration of life will be held at 1:30PM. Kevin will be laid to rest following with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Pennsylvania
A second celebration of life will be held at a later date in Maine for local family, friends, and members of the veteran community. https://gofund.me/3c434143e If you'd like to support the kids during this difficult time.

Kevin was a lifelong friend, and even when our lives took us in different directions over time, I still had the memories we shared from our boyhood to reflect upon after being informed of his untimely passing. I want to take this moment to sincerely thank him for those cherished memories, and to extend my sincerest sympathies to his mom and sister who are now in my thoughts and prayers as they grieve our shared loss during this very difficult time. Kevin served us all as a US Army Soldier, then continued to serve his fellow service men and women through his endless dedication and unwavering commitment, making it his personal mission to use his own experience to help others who faced the same challenges he did after leaving their service. His unselfish example is one we should all honor now and continue in his memory. Freedom isn't free, and no one better than Kevin understood this sacrifice first hand. May God now welcome you home dear friend and may you rest in eternal peace.

Kevin, we may or may not have ever crossed paths. However, I am familiar with the commitment and sacrifices you made over the years serving those who served my beloved Country.
My sincerest condolences to your family and the loved ones you left behind.
Being a part of the NSO Corp means your legacy and contributions as one of the"Selfless Few" will not be forgotten. I am certain the respective DAV NSO, DSO and CSO families will echo my sentiment.
Rest in Peace knowing you made a positive impact on the countless lives you touched.

Kevin helped me, through DAV, when I was at a very low point. A long time ago. Sorry I missed your funeral.
Thank you Kevin. A fellow vet, John Gretz
