Kevin "Zeke" C. Walker

I knew him as "K.D." as a MHS classmate. I guess we didn't have much in common, but he had a special nickname for me, a play on "Mimi". Nice to know he enjoyed nature and became a church-goer. May he rest in peace! Miriam Steiner Williams, class of 1973

I haven't seen Kevin in many years but have great memories and fun times growing up in Mayville with Kevin. So sorry to hear about his passing.

On a wall-to-wall night at Yesterday's when you couldn't hear over the sound of the band he told me his intention of walking up to people and say nothing (just mouth words - since you couldn't hear anyway) just to see how long they would agree with what they weren't hearing - I laughed hysterically as he went from one person to the next and they nodded in agreement!

It was a pleasure getting to know Kevin at the Brownsville clinic. I will think of him every time I pull out the brine recipe he gave me. My sympathies to the family.

I'm so sad to hear this. Kevin was a good friend all thru high school and after until I moved to Minnesota. My condolences.

Zeke was a good guy. Knew how to hunt, fish, trap, have fun and, above all, treat people. We'll all miss him.
