Kevin Michael Weber, 60, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2025, with his wife and daughters by his side. Kevin was born March 2nd, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Richard Weber and Vicki Leece Weber. Kevin graduated from Cozad High School, Cozad, Nebraska, in 1983. He then went on to get his associate’s degree in automotive parts at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. After schooling, Kevin moved to Belleville, Kansas, where he met his wife, Mindy (Williams) Weber. They wed on December 14th, 2001, and welcomed their first daughter, Kara Weber, shortly after on February 20th, 2002. On November 5th, 2003, they welcomed their second daughter, Hannah Weber, completing their wonderful family.
Kevin built a beautiful life in Belleville with Mindy. He worked for Rolling Hill Electric from September 1992 until April 2020 as an AMR Director/IT Specialist, but he wore many hats throughout that time and there was not a lot he didn’t know how to do. Kevin’s passion was his family. He loved to watch his daughter’s activities mainly consisting of sporting events. Some of his favorite memories were of coaching the KaBoom softball team where he would travel with his daughters to different tournaments. Kevin enjoyed golfing and bowling with his friends and would always try to teach his daughters how to play as well. In recent years he introduced his daughters to hockey and they treasure every game they attended with him.
He was the most incredible father and husband with his unwavering kindness, patience, and abundance of love that he put into his family. He will be forever remembered by his wife Mindy, daughters Kara and Hannah of Omaha, Nebraska; brother-in-law Tom Williams and wife Molly and niece Elly of Belleville; nephew Zachary Palmquist of Denver, Colorado; brother-in-law Charles Ford; sister Michelle Tellus and husband Steve; brothers Doug Weber; Jeff Weber and wife Kim; Brian Weber and wife Lila; Dave Weber and wife Dove; and Chris Weber and wife Bobbie; as well as many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Vicki Weber; in-laws Connie and Theodore (Ted) Williams, sister-in-law Kelley Ford, as well as many beloved family pets.
His celebration of life open house will be on August 31st, 2025, from 3pm - 7pm at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home in Belleville, Kansas. Please wear your Huskers, Redwings or Michigan gear as Kevin would want to be celebrated by those he loved wearing the gear he loved.
