Kevin, we miss you and love you still so very much and are so sad that you are not here with us. 13 years later yesterday and it seems like that terrible day had just happened and you would still be walking in your front door to be with your wife and two boys. Connor is at Boston University and Aidan is growing up so fast too, both great sons. You would be proud. Until we meet again, hugs and watch over us, especially our sister, Mary, as she is challenged with a terrible health disease. Love and missing you, your big sister, Susan

Hi Kevin, Sorry I haven't stopped by for a couple of years but not because I don't remember you. I still honor you on that page we created to remember all those killed that day. RIP Kevin.

Kevin, we rented your beach cottage on LBI and laughed at sharing a last name. Though this is the first time in 12 years that I have posted, I keep you and your family in our prayers always and forever.

You knuckle head. Yes it is true that I am still a freak of nature. I miss your squacking down the box at me to "PICK ME UP" and when I just turned you down you persisted with those calls.

You are a good friend and I pray for you and your family every day. You were there for me when I needed you and I will never forget.

Kevin
It's so hard to think that you are gone. Thinking about hanging out back in HS, or the Senior Class Trip to Orlando. You are most definately missed. God Bless your family.

Dear Kevin & family,

I remember you as a little guy.

You sat on my lap at a birthday party for your great Nanny. I also

remember that you took a trip out a

window in Trenton at your Grandmom's house playing Super Man.

Someone Grandma or an Angel had

placed some cushions where you landed from the second story window.

Your life was spared that time.

Now you have become a national hero

and a sacrifice for your country.

God bless your family kept in my

prayers.

Kevin, it was fun sharing a room with you in DC twenty years ago. I particulary enjoyed watching you argue politics with those girls form California whose names I can't remember. I looked for you to be in Congress. But God put you in this world to help those in peril on September 11th. God Bless you and your family. You're a hero to us all.

I was amazed to see how much we both look alike. Most likely we are kin in some fashion. I, too, traveled the globe...but as a Marine Corps officer. I was training recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island when it happened. I have fought, and will continue to fight, for you and all the others who did not make it out that day. I will honor our namesake at every available opportunity. Go with God, Kevin...I'm standing guard for the rest of the family. Until we meet in heaven...

My heart again shares your grief as September 11 arrives again. I have a bracelet with Kevin's name on it to remind me to pray for your family. I chose it because my husband died a year earlier after the horrible Cerro Grande Fire here in Los Alamos and I felt connected through our last name and shared tradgey. I have prayed for God's peace for each of you and for you to feel His love through people everywhere you come into contact with. God's blessings on you day by day and His healing hand of love.

My acquaintance with Kevin was relatively brief and many years ago when he was still a college student teaching swimming classes in the summer. As an overweight, 30-year-old mother I enrolled in his basic lifesaving class and his patience helped me pass the calss. More importantly, it helped me develop more self-confidence at a time when my personal life was in crisis and enabled me to enroll in my local community college. I have gone on to have a successful career and to be one of those "out of the bax" thinkers. Thank you, Kevin. I owe you.

Dear Kevin,

I want to say thank you for being a great friend and "brother" to my brother, Dr. Paul Kost. I know he will treasure your friendship forever. May God bless you and your wife and sons.

Kevin, I just want to tell you how much I miss us arguing over basketball. Iverson is still the man you already know that. (smile) He still hasn't put on any weight, and he still doesn't have any help so I don't think they are going to make it that far again this year. Jordan came back you know I don't care, but I had to tell you anyway. I can type to you forever about this but I just want to say once the season began I always thought of you, and wished I could come to work, and argue. So lastly I just want you to know you will always be in my heart, and thoughts when I watch a game.

FOREVER REST IN PEACE

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
