BARAKAT, Khalil Of Brookline, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his loving family on March 7, 2023. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Nadia (Khalil Said) Barakat. Devoted father of Alex Barakat of Phoenix, AZ, and Lana Barakat and her husband, Christo Shalish of Brookline. Cherished grandfather of Naya and Milo Shalish, both of Brookline. Dear brother of Hilda, Rose, Nabil and Dr. Suheil Barakat and Nawal Khoury Barakat and Samia Akra. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visit with the family in The Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Saturday, March 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
