Kim Chi Karagiosis

Kim Chi Karagiosis, née Nguyen, 76, of Wesley Chapel, FL died peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025. Kim was born January 15, 1949 in Vinh Binh, Vietnam. She immigrated to the US in 1972 where she was a homemaker and devoted spouse to Larry Karagiosis for 52 years. She has one daughter, Sue.

When Kim wasn't busy nurturing her family, she was very crafty with her time, a lifelong learner and always curious. She cultivated many fruit trees and gardens over the years, yielding plentiful citrus and Chinese bitter melons. Kim enjoyed sewing intricate, colorful quilts; the challenging double wedding ring was her favorite pattern. Additionally, she was an avid reader, fierce crossword puzzler and recent Korean soap opera fan.

Kim was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Karagiosis; parents, Nguyen Van Nhung and Le Thi Tu; and brothers, Hieu and Sy. Kim is survived by her daughter, Sue Karagiosis; son in-law, Kenneth Bruno; grandchildren, Isaac, Max and Emma; and sisters, Hoa, Dung and Mai.

Kim's Memorial Service will be on Friday October 10, 2025 at 10:00am at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O'Lakes Blvd., Land O' Lakes, Florida. She will be Interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida next to her husband, Larry.
