Kim Lovera Robinson, 67, of Gaylord went to be with the Lord on Sunday 26 May 2024.
Born on 5 February 1957, she was the first of three children born to Richard and Eleanor (Bennett) Loshaw. She was married to Douglas W. Robinson, and together had two children. Kim graduated from Vanderbilt High School, then went on to college (Fayetteville Tech) where she received her degree in Accounting. Kim used her degree and skills at several organizations but what she enjoyed most was being a homemaker and mother.
Kim’s hobbies included gardening, tole painting, scrapbooking, and stamping where she achieved demonstrator status and taught classes. She was an active member of the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church and served on the Women’s Ministry Group, as Kidz Jam counselor, and on the Night to Shine team.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Douglas Robinson whom she married at Vanderbilt Community Church on 26 March 1977; her daughters Brooke R. Robinson and Whitney L. (Tim) McDermott, and brother John (Debra) Loshaw. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Loshaw, her mother, Eleanor (Larry) Bennett and brother Thomas (Brenda) Loshaw.
In keeping with her wishes, a viewing will commence at 2:00pm at the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church on Sunday 2 June 2024 with the memorial taking place at 3:00pm. A luncheon to follow. A private family memorial will be held later at the Evergreen Hills Cemetery in Vanderbilt. Those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church.
