Kim was born in Bellevue, PA, on February 10, 1955. The family relocated to Morris Town, NJ, where Kim and her family lived before moving to Palm Harbor, FL, during her senior year in high school. Kim was the youngest of three siblings and her father favored her older siblings, so Kim knew she would have to be self-reliant.
Kim was a career employee of the Pinellas County Clerk of the Courts where she worked for 35 years before retiring in 2012.
The pinnacle of Kim's life was the birth of her two children: Shawn and Shannon. Shannon gave birth to Kim's first grandchild, Maddison. And Shawn and his wife, Taylor, followed with the birth of Lily and London.
Kim was an avid pet lover and owned many dogs and five cats over her lifetime. Kim enjoyed traveling, concerts and socializing with friends and co-workers. Kim had a very easy-going temperament, making it easy for her to socialize with anyone. Kim loved Key West and enjoyed many genres of music, with her favorites being Frankie Valli and Travis Tritt.
Prior to her passing, Kim was married to James Donald "Don" Yuna for 22 years, after many years of dating. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the North Pinellas Suncoast Hospice Organization.
From James to Kim:
"Kim, you know you were the greatest thing that has ever happened in my life. This journey we were on was both stressful and rewarding.
I never got a chance to tell you this, but the greatest honor and achievement in my life was honoring your only wish, and taking care of you when you were most vulnerable.
Just when I had my doubts, you woke each and every day with optimism of what the day would bring.
I did not think I could love you more, but I was wrong.
Until we are together again,
your loving husband, Don."

While I didn't know Kim well, the times that we interacted at CJC she was always kind to me and others. What I remember most is that she always seemed to have a smile on her face. Sincere condolences to her family! May Kim rest in peace!
