DURHAM –Kimberlee "Kim" Fletcher Hanan, 68, passed away on September 10, 2025 at Duke University Medical Center. She was born in Aurora, Illinois to the late Ward Bowers Fletcher, Jr. and Joan "Jo Anne" Moore Fletcher. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her brother, Ward Brian Fletcher.

Kim graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1974. She was a member of the Redwings Drill Team, the Rowing team and the Fencing team. She went on to graduate from West Liberty College, in West Virginia. She moved to Durham in 1981 and began her career in Real Estate. She worked with Fonville Morisey for over 30 years and was currently working with West and Woodall. Don and Kim were married in 1983 and were together for 44 years. They were members at Umstead Pines Golf and Swim at Willowhaven and the University Club.

Kim is survived by her husband, Don Hanan. She is also survived by her brothers in law, Robert "Bobby" Hanan and George Michael "Mike" Hanan; niece, Erin Fletcher; and nephew, Tyler Fletcher.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
