Recording of Kimberley's Funeral
Kimberley Jo Dickerson was born November 17th, 1977 and left this life much too quickly and unexpectedly on April 12th, 2024. She was a devoted wife to John David (JD) Mother to Macy, Colt, and Cash, a treasured daughter to her parents Linda Perkins and Rayford Cumbie. She was their world and they were hers.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband JD, her dad Rayford Cumbie, and grandparents Wade and Glenda Ray, and Joe B and Emma Dee Cumbie.
Kim was a loyal friend to many far and wide. Her friendships were deep and lasting. She was "walking fun!" She carried a confidence about her that made people around her more confident. She had friends of all ages - whether that friend was 20 years old or 80, she loved them all the same. She was always generous with her time. If you needed a minute, she would give you an hour, unless it was gonna interrupt her shopping time or nap time.
Kim’s kindness and generosity were real. She was genuine and sincere in everything she did. She always held her family and friends close to her heart. She was quick to listen - but also quick to talk. She was always very appreciative of others and respected their opinions - but she preferred having the last word in any conversation, passionate in her way.
Kim had a passion for shopping, staying fit, her kids, her late husband, creating a home for her family, self-pampering, and life itself. These were her happy places. It was important for her to make sure you had a good story to bring home. She lived everyday to the fullest.
Accompanied by family and friends or anyone else she could talk into going, one of Kim’s passions was going to Vegas with her husband, driven by their “boujee” lifestyle. When she went, JD planned the trip perfectly. Kim’s goal was to make every trip memorable. Lots of good times were had.
Kim left an immense void in many lives. She was deeply loved and will be mourned by all. She leaves her legacy in her children.
