Kimberley Ann Leer, daughter of Shirley McCray, was born in Waynesville, Missouri, and grew up in a military family lifestyle.

Kimberley was united in marriage with Earl Billy Murff, and in their union, one child, Ryan Earl Murff, was born. Kimberley was also united in marriage with Dusty Lee Leer, and to this union, one child, Paige LeeAnn Leer, was born.

Kimberley loved kids! She ran an in-home daycare center for most of her children's upbringing and later crossed over into the medical field, graduating as an LPN on August 2, 2010. She worked as a pediatric nurse for Children's Mercy, and not long after, continued her practice as a home health nurse, going from home to home, caring for children with short/ long-term ailments and disabilities.

In her spare time, Kimberley loved visiting with friends and family and being a grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved sports-football and basketball in particular-and was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan!

Kimberley unexpectedly passed away in her home and was confirmed on October 2, 2025, at the age of 57 years old. Kimberley will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Kimberley is survived by her children Paige Leer and Ryan Murff (spouse Ericka Murff), all of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren Lyllian Murff, Eriana Murff, Kendryck Murff, and Mariah Murff; her mother Shirley McCray her sisters Tyonia Brewer Martinez and Belinda Brewer Koonce (spouse Wade Koonce); a number of nieces, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
