Kimberly Shea Alston

Mrs. Kimberly Shea Alston, 48, resident of Archdale, died October 27, 2025, at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Kimberly was born January 3, 1977, in Tampa, Florida. In 2023, she began work at Energizer Battery in Asheboro and quickly became a Supervisor because of her hard-work ethics. She loved planting flowers and gardening and always had a soft spot for animals.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Darry L. Alston, whom she married on January 7, 2005; her son, Nicholas "Nick" Alston of Asheboro; her daughter, Madeline "Maddy" Alston of Archdale; two grandchildren, Kamaria "Kam" Alston and King Alston; two sisters, Felecia Carter (James) of Asheboro and Paula Farlow of High Point; and a brother, Doug Farlow of Liberty; special friends and extended family, Steve and Sharon Carter and their daughter and her best friend, Crystal Carter; and her nieces, Brianna Carter, Sarah Carter, Shelby Carter, Danica Farlow and Abby Farlow.

Funeral service celebrating Kimberly's life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at Farmer Methodist Church Cemetery (3206 Grange Hall Road - Asheboro, NC).

The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
