Dear Curl Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Mr. Kim Curl. I am truly saddened to hear the news, as he was a truly remarkable man who made a lasting impact on everyone he met.

I still frequently think about and share stories of how his early belief in me fundamentally shaped the course of my life. As a young man, his constant encouragement gave me the confidence to pursue great things for the Kingdom of God. His infectious faith and the example he set profoundly influenced the man, husband, and father I have become today.

While I regret that I cannot thank him again in person, I hope to honor his legacy by reflecting the light of Jesus in my own life, just as he did so faithfully. While Curl nation and the rest of the world lost a truly wonderful man, Heaven has gained a servant warrior of Christ, and I have no doubt that the moment that Mr. Curl met our Savior, he heard the words we all hope to hear one day, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

With deepest sympathy,

Israel Childs

Kim Curl was a truly generous and kind man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Our daughter Casey grew up with his daughter Gena, through school and on the basketball court. Kim was always supportive and encouraging, and we will never forget how he helped Casey get her very first job out of college. God puts people in our lives for a reason and we are so thankful that you crossed ours. Rest in peace Kim.
