Died: November 14, 2022 in Peru, IL
Kimberly Sue (Bennett) Monroe, 51, of Oglesby, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Margaret's Health, Peru.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru with Pastor Jamie Walters of Spring Valley Community Church, officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Peru City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
Kimberly was born February 14, 1971 in Kewanee to Donald Eugene and Juanita May (Monroe) Bennett. She was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. Kimberly worked as a dispatcher for the Peru Police Department for many years. She was an avid cat lover.
Survivors include her daughter, Kacey Becker of Chicago; four grandchildren, Kimora, Major, and Maylana all of Chicago and Tyler of Cedar Point; six siblings, Carol (Bob) Schmidt of Oglesby, Linda Kaszynski of Spring Valley, David (Lorrie) Bennett of Ladd, Donna (Terry) Burrell of Spring Valley, Curtis (Linda) Bennett of Oglesby, and Nancy (Craig Dinges) Bennett of LaMoille; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert "Robby" Donald Hash on June 6, 2021.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
