Kimberly Ann Nee, age 47, of St. Charles passed away surrounded by her family Friday, August 1, 2025 at Journeycare In Barrington.

She was born July 10, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Linda Nee.

Kimmy was a pillar of love, joy, and faith, whose heart beat strongest for her family. Her bond with her mom was unbreakable - sharing favorite movies and TV shows, savoring prime rib dinners at Village Squire, and joyfully rating Oscar fashion and films year after year. She cherished her close relationship with her older sister, found laughter and camaraderie with her younger brother, and held a deep respect and love for her father, who she shared many personality traits. Kimmy's life was a beautiful celebration of the things she held dear - the wonder of Disney, the enduring love story of Titanic, and the magic of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.

She is survived by her parents, a sister, Jennifer (Dan) Tarpey, a brother, Thomas (Dina), four nieces, Ally, Maddy, Alannah and Julianna, a nephew, T.J.

Her nieces and nephew were her heart's greatest joy, and she embraced her role in their lives with deep devotion and pride. She had a gift for turning every holiday into a memorable celebration, complete with perfectly chosen presents that were always "a find." Her strong faith guided her with grace, and her legacy of compassion, creativity, and joy will forever live on in the lives she touched
