It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Neeley, beloved daughter, wife, and friend, who left us on November 12, 2025, at her home. She was 62 years old. Born on August 27, 1963, in Knoxville, Kimberly was a radiant spirit whose love and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met.Kimberly was the cherished daughter of Howard and Hazel Baker, who instilled in her the values of compassion and resilience. These qualities defined her life and became the foundation upon which she built her relationships and her family. In a world that often felt chaotic, Kimberly was the unwavering glue that held her family together, always providing support and warmth.
On her journey through life, Kimberly found her soulmate in Donnie Neeley. Kimberly's love for her family was unparalleled; she took immense joy in spending time with them, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. A person of many passions, Kimberly found great pleasure in gardening, cultivating beauty and serenity in her surroundings. She loved being outdoors, taking long walks, and basking in the sun's warmth, finding peace and joy in nature. Her hobbies reflected her spirit-vibrant, nurturing, and full of life.
Kimberly's presence illuminated the lives of those around her. Her laughter was infectious, her smile could brighten the darkest days, and her unwavering support provided comfort to many. She was a confidante, a mentor, and a source of strength, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.As we celebrate the life of Kimberly Neeley, we remember her for the love she gave so freely, the joy she brought into our lives, and the legacy of kindness that she leaves behind.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Baker and Hazel Franse Baker, and brother, Howard Baker II.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Donie Neeley; her son, Donald "Little Donnie" Neeley, and fiancée Haley; sisters, Karen Monday, Kathy Byrd, Donna Smith; special friend, Lisa Murphy; as well as a host of other nieces and nephews
