Kimberly Rochelle Palmer, a cherished soul born on October 30, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, embraced life with a radiant spirit until her passing on December 28, 2025. Her journey through this world spanned 56 years, during which she became a beloved presence to many who were fortunate enough to know her.
For 24 dedicated years, Kimberly served the community as a steadfast worker in the warehouse at Dallas Independent School District. Her commitment exemplified her selfless nature, a hallmark of her personality that shone brightly in every facet of her life. A ray of light, Kimberly possessed a sweet and loving demeanor, always willing to extend her hand and heart to those in need. As a devoted mother, she took immense pride in her three sons, Joseph, Nathan, and Yomaine Palmer, who were undoubtedly her proudest accomplishments. Her unwavering support and nurturing spirit have left an indelible mark on their lives.
Beyond her daily endeavors, Kimberly found joy in the simple pleasures. She was an aficionado of crossword puzzles, a devotee of Hallmark movies, and a connoisseur of Tyler Perry sitcoms and films. Music was a constant companion, providing solace and inspiration in her day-to-day life. Yet, it was her powerful role as a prayer warrior that truly defined her—her faith and dedication to prayer were forces that buoyed many in her circle.
Kimberly's absence will be deeply felt by her mother, Mary Palmer, as well as her nieces, Andrea Young and Lakeitha Young, and her great-nephew, Cameron Young. In her family, she nurtured relationships that flourished on love and loyalty, embodying the essence of a true friend and confidante.
She now joins her beloved father, Nathaniel Palmer, her sisters, Gloria Young and Baby Palmer, and her grandmother, Dorothy Palmer, in eternal rest. Those who have passed before her undoubtedly welcome her with open arms, a family reunion enriched by love and memories.
The warmth of Kimberly's presence, her sweet spirit, and her selfless sacrifices will be a comforting memory to all who knew her. In honor of her life, a viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas, on January 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, where friends and family can gather to celebrate the impact she made on their lives.
As we reflect on the legacy Kimberly leaves behind, may we find solace in the love she gave so freely and the kindness she spread so generously. Let her memory be a reminder to embrace one another in the same spirit of love and devotion she exemplified throughout her life.
