Kane Taylor

I remember back in 82 or 83 I was 16 or 17 years old. I ran away from home in Portland Oregon and was headed to Vancouver BC. I found myself in Olympia Wa looking around the Capital. I started asking questions about Washington State politics. Mr. Lysen must have overheard me and we had lunch in the cafeteria at the Capital. He was a very knowledgeable and genuine person. I have always wanted to thank him for taking the time to share some of his thoughts and hopes with a lost 17 year old kid. I have thought of him often over the years. He seemed like a great person. My condolences to his family and friends. Lieutenant Kane Taylor, Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons, Sherdan Oregon.

King was a king and generous soul. He cared about his family and community throughout his life. King was an active, involved citizen, willing to work to make the world a better place for future generations.
