Kinley was sent to our family to help teach us to live with empathy and compassion. Kinley loved everyone and her spirit was shaped not knowing hate, judgment or sin - she is a gift through her life, in her passing and will always be with us in the future. In this world we live in we all need a Kinley in our lives. Go out and be a Kinley!
Kinley Olivia Hedden, 10 years old, was an angel on earth who gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Kinley was born on January 6, 2014 in Alamance County to Wesley William Hedden and Emily Paige Brandt Hedden.
She enjoyed being outdoors, feeling the sunshine and wind on her face, also watching “Jake and The Neverland Pirates”. Kinley was known as a “Daddy’s Girl” and loved spending time with her family, playing with her brother, spending time at the lake, riding in the pontoon boat, listening to music, and having spa day baths. She loved dogs, and enjoyed being around her grandmother’s dog, “Max”. Kinley was an angel here on earth who will definitely be missed by her family and friends.
Kinley is survived by her parents, Wesley and Emily Hedden; a brother, Brody Patrick Hedden; maternal grandparents, Rick and Channing Davenport, Rick and Kim Brandt; paternal grandparents, Mary Lou Hedden and John Hedden; maternal great grandmothers, Sallie Brandt and Carole Davenport; aunts and uncles, Lauren Brinkley (Ryan), Nick Davenport, Cameron Davenport, Corinne Davenport, Mallory Shartzer (Jordan), Haley Brandt, Liz Hedden, Jamie Hatfield (Jesse) and Johnny Hedden (Emnet); and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfathers, Adrian Brandt and Bob Davenport, and her paternal great grandparents, William “Bill” and Vera Chafatelli, Jack Hedden and Pat Covington.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all of Kinley’s home health caregivers and nurses for all of their loving care and support that was shown to Kinley and to their family.
The family will be having a gathering to celebrate the life of Kinley from 2pm to 4pm Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
