Kirk Daniel Dooley of Gamaliel, Arkansas, passed away August 30, 2025, in Gamaliel, Arkansas at the age of 53. He was a triplet born August 11, 1972, in Florissant, Missouri, the son of Daniel and Diane Surkamp Dooley. Kirk attended technical school for mechanics and worked an array of jobs. One of his greatest achievements was receiving Jack in the Box Employee of the Year in 1991. Kirk most recently worked as Director of Maintenance at Twin Lakes Nursing and Rehab in Flippin, Arkansas. He was proud of his work there and keeping things running smoothly. After a lifetime of visiting the area, Kirk moved to Gamaliel in 2023. He loved Norfork Lake where he enjoyed fishing for catfish. He found peace in watching the sunset and sleeping on the lake.
Kirk is survived by his sons, Cody (Nikole Trolinger) Dooley of Licking, MO, and Adam Dooley of O'Fallon, MO; mother, Diane Dooley of Gamaliel, AR; brothers, Kyle (Holly Nemec) Dooley, of Wentzville, MO, and Dan (Kelley) Dooley, Jr. of St. Peters, MO; grandma, Geraldine Surkanp of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Kali, Kailee, and Kace; and a host of extended family. Kirk will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will carry his memory with them always.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Kevin Dooley; and infant brother, Kevin Dooley.
