Kirk Perron

Kirk grew up a few blocks from our house. His sister had a horse boarded where my sister had one. We went to Morro Bay High School together. I was one year behind Kirk in age. While in High School, Kirk and I started a gardening maintenance business in Los Osos, CA called "Bay-Osos Economy Gardening". I worked alongside Kirk mowing lawns etc. He was super positive and had a unstoppable attitude. He bought his first car, a little gold Ford Fiesta with cash, and was reading a book called "Nothing Down" by Robert Allen when he told me his plan to buy a apartment building and "use the tenant's rent to pay most of the mortgage down". Later we parted ways after graduating High School. I ran into him about 8 years later when my car had broke down and I was trying to push it up a hill by myself, Somebody stopped their car behind me, got out and and started helping me push my car, it was Kirk!. He told me his plan that was in full swing; his first Juice Club store on Chorro Street. He was living in a house right next to the store with some of his business partner roommates, He introduced me to them and I stayed for dinner. Kirk told me parts of his business plan for future of The Juice Club. I knew he would succeed because of his unwavering steadfast attitude and focus. Kirk was joyful, positive and humorous. I am sad he left so soon.

My children and I came to SLO escaping Domestic Violence. Kirk was a good friend who gave me work and fed my kids and I free smoothies every morning. I told the World about this wonderful man and Jamba Juice. We miss him.

Met one time, he waited on me as I was getting a highly desired Jamba Juice for a young man that was a patient at the hospital in San Luis Obispo. He noticed the uniform and asked if I was going to drink it at work. I said a patient as requested it, it was cleared with the Doc, so I am the delivery person. He sent me back with my own wonderful First Time Jamba Juice. What a kind and thoughtful young man. Sadly we say good bye too soon, his good deeds still leave sparks of joy...

I am so sorry to hear that Kirk has passed away. My sentiments to his family and friends, and to everyone that Kirk influenced their lives. I worked with Kirk at Dorn"s restaurant while he was still in high school. I noticed that Kirk was a one in a million kind person and a real motivator. I am saddened and stunned of this news.
