Kolleen M. MacNabb

Kolleen MacNabb, age 38, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her residence. Born in Erie on January 4, 1984, she was a daughter of Larry MacNabb and the late Kathy (Karney) MacNabb.
Kolleen was a 2002 graduate of East High School. She loved music and social media. She loved fashion and it was important to her to look her best. She played league hockey in middle and high school and was very competitive. She received an associate degree from Tri-State Business Institute in computer programming, and later was happy to follow in her mother's footsteps by entering the medical profession and received her CNA Certificate from LECOM. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Guardian Healthcare, Walnut Creek. She was a volunteer at Mercy Center for Women.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Lou Karney, and cousin, Ashton.
Besides her father, Kolleen is survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Jolyn), and Jon; sisters, Leona, and Sherry; grandfather, Bob Karney; uncle, Rob Karney (Lisa), aunt, Becky Tapscott, and uncle, Keith MacNabb; cousin, and good friend, Mary Cochran-Fisher; and several other cousins.
Services for Kolleen are private, and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, c/o Brugger Funeral Home, 845 E. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504, to help defray funeral costs.
